Embarassing situation in Puchong Bak Kut Teh

Before I move on any further.. I would like to recommend a good old bak kut teh for everyone's enjoyment.......

The old saying, "Good food are hard to find"

Me: That is why I'm recommending

The sarcastic saying, "If it is not far enough from the city, awesome restaurant owners won't want thar place to be his new restaurant."

Me: Prepare the petrol for good food.

Last week end... My father decided to bring us all the way to puchong to eat bak kut teh!

Being the disobedient me as usual...

Without any filter system in my words I said

"Omg.. Why are we eating so far away when we are from CHERAS!
its like 1 hour ride!"
"How can we enjoy the food when we were stuck for like an hour
in the traffic?"
"What happen to eat to get full and not addicted!"
"Pork is not good for our health.. even without swine flu
reason"
"Come on.. AKU TAK NAK"
"Bak Kut Teh in CHERAS HAVEN Bankrupt yet! Give them a chance
too!"
"Desperation for food is not the cure"
"Dad you are old already... Come we go eat some veggi in
CHERAS lor"

Futile attempt as usual..

One glare from my mom and I will creep quietly into the car with the sit belt over my mouth...

"No harm in trying"

I'm sure you guys heard of this place... ^^

I give you this

This is the best dish I got to say.. Dry bak kut teh.. CHUN ^^ Smooches for tasting so awesome...

But the embarassing part is about to come.....
You see... I brought my camera to that place to blog about "Why you shouldn't travel so far for Bak Kut Teh" post which I thought was pretty relevent no matter how many times I thought about it

But after eating the food and seeing the satisfaction muka from my family members.. Ive decided to spare the bad review and just go on without it...

But I came to a point where I want their address.. For 'dining' reasons...
Big mistake I got to say
At the same point...
My mom was trying to make fun of me, I think.....
When I asked for a name card from the waitress....
Here is what happened

Mom: She wants to promote your restaurant!
Being a blogger wannabe and all.. Give her ur restaurant name card!
Me: Umm I just want the address if it is
alright... A name card would be great...
Then.. The ever so friendly waitress replied almost
harshly
"Oh-so-nice" waitress: I assure you there is
no need to blog about us knowing we already have a website as stated on our name
card and our restaurant is a well known place which has been featured on
internet and newspaper. But here you go, a name card.

Having said that without a pause, she finished her sentence and went off getting busy....

Me... Who was misunderstood for being naive thinking that restaurant is not well known enough till the point they need a NOBODY like me to blog about them.. It must have appeared ridiculous to her...

Me? Speechless for the day... Decided not to talk back for a change... BAH

It was embarassing!

Bukit Tinggi BBQ!

How often do you find yourself traveling far away for some good old meal?

I hate doing those!

I hate making so much effort just to keep my tummy full

Just hate the whole sickening drive to a secluded restaurant for some FAMOUS seafood

But shock to say

No..

CRAZY TO SAY

I actually enjoyed the 1 hour trip to Bukit Tinggi to have a taste in their ever so original restaurant!

Nothing like any restaurant..

Not too grand..

Not too trashy

You would be dining with a calm environment filled with greens...

This is their kilang look a like restaurant... XD

And these are their umbrella ceilings!
Cool isn't it?
Every customers who wish to leave their umbrella in the restaurant can write their name and msg on it to be hung above...

In my opinion, its also good to prevent leaking.. NO? KAKAKA

They manage to save money on concrete walls too...

Their walls are made up of all the wine bottles they collected..
Can u imagine it already?
4 walls filled with wine bottles...

Its hard to imagine... Pretty for the eyes..

See.. these are thick walls...

Oh geeee

Do not! I said do not doubt the taste by it's look...
Which was what I did....
The moment u taste it you will only want to have more!

The sweetness of the vegetables especially the pumpkins... bah drools!
I need more of it!

the meat taste so soft and tasty I couldnt believe I was eating some frozen fish!

This final dish is the best and the only reason why I love the place and would sacrifice my hate over long journey...

I'm out of words but it is definitely the best lamb every served...

My brother couldn't even wait for the first taste!!!

Come on my friends! those who are close to me.. One day we need to take bus to genting to eat this together! Its a must!

I'm A Standout in Life!

I’m a standout in life!

Basically, everyone’s first impression on me would be…..
“She is just a regular 18 years old with an ordinary life and ordinary everything….”

Personally, I love that impression!

It’s good to send the I’m-an-average-girl vibe to the people for a change.
But somehow people just couldn’t help dropping their jaws when I start to show my true colors!

I will be getting comments like
“Damn, what is wrong with you girl! You are causing a huge commotion here! Don’t standout too much!”
Or
*bang heads on table* “I need an ordinary friend for a change Christine… Get away from me..”

I mean, I used to try really hard to be normal.. And I’m meaning at an extreme level difficulty (such as talking really politely, dress nicely, act gently etc and such to be like a normal girl) to blend in and be like everyone else, only to find myself getting too irritated ended up returning to my true self.

But I’m thankful I never changed!
Psssh… Who wants to be like EVERYONE else and stuck to be a nobody….

Cereal box

and even in your house mirror! BEWARE! I'm everywhere!

(all stated above are DIY advertisements which has not been released yet.. Still looking for producers and the right advertising company to promote ME!)

Ok fine… Maybe I’m not real poster model….(but definitely the true maker)

But I’m a pure blood drama queen with much monkey business up my sleeves!
Bring me to any where to “JUMP UP THE VOLUME”, and I will promise you you will be needing 10 people to hold me back from over doing it! Beg me to be ordinary!

I’m not a freak of nature.. Just a really unique individual who hates to join the army of blending in!

Finally I decided to post about LG EVENT...

I found a black dress in the end of the day after tiredlessly walking around in leisure mall looking for a red or white dress..

I still remember a sales girl came up to me... "WHO ON EARTH WEAR RED DRESS TO PARTY?"

I was stunned and held back for a while before I answer

"U are right.. I will ask the LG event manager when I'm there tonight"

I left the shop with her jaw dropped...

Haiz and thanks to the curses of CCM..

I really didn't manage to do my makeup in the final minute because I left my contact lenses in Satya's House... Haiz.. all the rush for nothing..

Conclusion?
Lg was seriously generous...
Maybe I rarely go to events such as this
They were giving out from handphones to plasma tv to 3G Phone! COME ON!
Besides that, as a guest of the party
I felt the party was moving at the wrong speed in the beginning..

It started with the predictable late hour speech which is long and uninteresting..
Those who were actually away from the bar could probably catch the fact that LG are promoting some products in the party as well as explaining the theme.....but besides that? Pointless

Speechs are necessary...
But if you wanna do it in a party...
We need methods and a lot of attention no?
However, I love the falling of the balloons.. Classic..
Give me more reason to burst balloons..

Besides that, the cupcakes were fantastic
I just don't get why did the bar keep a few different drinks around the table but only serve a certain type of juice? (Indoor bar)
Thankfully the outside bar was at least a little more entertaining than the indoor version
Performances from the workers and constant flirting.. ^^ the guests including myself were entertained.. ^^

What more, serena C looks hawt! Love her hair!

I wasn't only attending an engagement..

I was there to prepare the venue too!
Decorating and moving furnitures are so fun...
and tiring until 2am man!
But nothing compare to what the bribe has went thru.. XD
